Satellite project launches peer-to-peer media platform based on Ethereum and Torrent

Satellite’s peer-to-peer media platform has been launched, the project uses Ethereum for data indexing, and uses the browser-based Torrent network for decentralization and peer-to-peer data transmission. When a user creates a website ID in Satellite, the private key that can be linked to the user’s information is stored in the Ethereum blockchain. When the ID is created, this is a permanent public record, and no one can delete it. The content needs to use this information for digital signature. For the data transmission layer, Satellite uses Torrent technology and is based on the browser-based WebTorrent to ensure that the content does not need to be stored in a centralized server.
